Zimbabwe Fellowships

Zimbabwe Fellowship

Open to educators, non-profit leaders, & community leaders of African descent.

During this Fellowship participants will:

  • Develop the confidence to lead project and field based learning activities with their students. (Teachers)
  • Develop African-inspired lessons and curriculum materials. (Teachers)
  • Confidently and effectively lead through a compassionate and cooperative lens.
  • Develop culturally informed practices for social & emotional regulation.
  • Effectively accommodate the needs of people with disabilities as well as those who are socio-economically disadvantaged creating an inclusive and equitable learning & workplace environment.
  • Develop a fundamental understanding of Zimbabwe’s history, culture, and traditional practices
Fellowship includes: 

Professional development workshops in the cornerstones of the Liberated Learning Approach. Three virtual workshops throughout the school year: 

  • Culturally Informed Leadership
  • Cooperative Approaches to Leadership
  • Equity & Inclusion in the Leadership
  • Social & Emotional Wellness
